If you have Antique Knobs or a Replica, this is the Retrofit Kit needed to install them in Modern Pre-drulled doors. Your Purchase is for all hardware need to fit in any door with standard 2-3/8" backset, Modern Pre-drilled doors or Antique doors with 1-1/4" to 1-3/4" thickness. You will receive in the shortest possible time: a Tubular Latch & Striker Plate with matching screws , a threaded spindle make to fit this particular latch, Two 2-1/2" Rosettes (a duplicate of the 1920 type) and matching screws and Two hand made wood adapters. Economy Retrofit Kit included, with Installation Instructions: (1) Install Latch (2) Glue wood adapters with hot glue gun (3) Secure door plates by tightening the Knobs (4) drill pilot holes and fasten door plates with wood screw (5 Then Adjust the door knobs and Bolt securely to the square side of the spindle.
